So, long time no speaky. I was away for a week, but it seems it was a catch up week... I don't think i had anything to catch up on!

This week we've been working on html, hence the title. It's not that awful really, never done any before but i didn't think it was too difficult. It's very basic of course, and i made it all purple.

Win for us!

So the video won out of the class! Well done Alex! and Ross in a way... So now it's against the other classes, i think we'll win, the video is better then i could ever of thought

For the past 2 weeks we've been working on mkaing a video starring some paper cups. I'll post it up or add a link as soon as possible, if possible as Alex has put in alot of work and it's good!

I can't really explain why but the lack of proper social interaction in the world today upsets me. But then again so does this computer. And the X-Factor.

CEM photo

So here's my final photoshop picture for CEM. We were asked to create a photoshop picture for CEM which showed them in a social/corporate setting. CEM decided that they held an event in one of the capsules of the London Eye.

To make the picture I found a picture of an empty capsule at http://www.worldofstock.com/. I then added in the CEM logo into 2 windows of the capsule. After taking photo's of some of the CEM group I moved them across into the background. The colours all seemed to work out well so i didn't have to do any alterations in that respect... which was handy!

Here's the picture I made old. I made it grey scale first then added a blur and noise to take away the sharpness of the digital image.

Old Photo's turned new! but not quite...

So here's this mornings work, we've been using Photoshop to restore damage done to old photo's. These two have both been cropped first to take away evidence that these are photo's of photo's, then using the clone stamp tool removed any damage to them.

This one has only been cropped and straightened.

So we've moved onto Photoshop now and we've been working through some exercises to get us used to it's way of working. So far these pictures have been either cropped, rotated or turned to grayscale and all have been resized. There will be more to follow soon.

Project Finale

This is the work completed after all the suggestions from the company. They chose to use it as their companies logos etc... so that's good!

Logo Project

We are now doing group projects where we create logos etc for a group of fellow classmates. The group we're working with decided to start an event management company called Complete Event Management. I created these to begin with, i took a picture that was originally white and red and shaded them to give a dark effect, with the logo standing out in the emerald green.

First Posting!

First week at college and we had to make a name plate for a partner!

My partner was Ross and clicking on his name will take you his blog. I chose Che Guevera due to Ross' strong political views, then added a back ground and his name basically, i then embossed che guevera to give it an appearance of standing out of the whole picture as it is a picture of a 1968 propaganda poster.
